Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) works with professionalism and operational transparency. Annually, we cooperated with Cambodian governors, local authorities, and partners to organize development programs monitoring and visits to update about the progress, experiences, and achievements GNC has accomplished throughout the year.

In 2024, the Ministry of Rural Development selected to visit the Thmar Koul Community Development Program (TK CDP) of GNC for a program monitoring schedule. On 13 March, His Excellency Deab Kanora, vice secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development, Mr. Chann Sophanna, vice director of the Provincial Department of Rural Development, and the secretaries visited the TK CDP of GNC to review the development progress, projects, and programs that GNC has support community people at the rural area of Cambodia.

The presidium visited three specific development programs in the WASH and Education program sector of Good Neighbors Cambodia including Water Station, Good Learning Center, and Hygiene Toilet in Schools Project implemented in TK CDP. During this visit, His Excellency Deab Kanora and his secretaries conducted a group discussion with managers of TK CDP, EP CDP, and project staff in the TK community about the current situation of community people, students, project beneficiaries and project implementation progress for the understanding of overall context. Additionally, the Ministry of Rural Development and GNC staff visited the local authority in Anlong Run commune to have an update about community development and the cooperation between GNC and locals from previous times until now.

The program monitoring visit went well. The Ministry of Rural Development of Cambodia appreciates GNC’s professionalism in supporting the Cambodian community through good development projects and cooperation with local authorities and the community. The Ministry of Rural Development of Cambodia encourages GNC and GNC staff to keep up this hard work and support the communities.
