We aim to make Cambodian people feel more valued, seen, and heard by the way we positively contribute, and we strive to make schools with courageous motivation and tomorrow inside. Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) and its partners created a moment of love and hope with students in Kok Ches Primary School in Kandal province during the festive celebration.

On 20th December 2023, with the visit and support from DGB Cam Capital and local authority, we handed out presents in the form of school stationery and clothes (300 sets of school materials and 250 pieces of adult clothing) to well-performed students who have worked hard in their studying and self-development. This gift will also be distributed to parents and other family members.

During the event, Mr. Ros Thearith, The CEO of DGB Cam Capital, stated in his motivational speech to students and participants, ‘I hope students will study hard and become talented people who help their community and the country, and we will provide more support in the future’ In addition, Mr. Bich So Phun, The Kok Ches Commune Council Chief, expressed gratitude to DGB Camp Capital and Good Neighbors Cambodia ‘This activity supports the Cambodia government and local authority by reducing poverty in our community. I am grateful for your kindness”.

This activity has provided a sense of generosity and the readiness to start a new academic year for all students. We are happy to be a part of children’s happiness, and we hope this positive contribution can have a long-lasting impact on students’ continuous growth.

Since 2020, Cam Capital has collaborated with Good Neighbors to provide income generation methods through the ‘Good Link Project’ to enhance livelihood self-reliance and economic independence. Moreover, Cam Capital supported elementary education projects and programs for a good change in education for Cambodians.

Since 2002, GNG has been making a positive impact in Cambodia by implementing various community development programs in the areas of Sponsorship, Education, Health, WASH, Income Generation, Advocacy, Emergency Relief, and other work that extends beyond the planned community development programs to relieve the impacts of natural disasters and emergencies in our communities with the collaborations of the government, related organizations, stakeholders, and partners to create a happy society without poverty.
